Most people feel as if there is too much to do every day and not enough free time to do it. But, how does that explain those people who are super-productive and seem to get so much more done than the average person? The way to explain it is that they’ve found what they want to do, and they do what they want to do, and nothing else.
- Determine What’s Important – There are some things that really aren’t that important but you do them anyway. Maybe you talk on the phone to a relative every day for an hour but you really don’t want to and don’t have time to, but you don’t know how to stop it. Sit down and brainstorm what is important in your life and who is important in your life so that you can focus on those things.
- Schedule Everything – Once you know what’s important, use a good calendar to schedule everything, including leisure time. It might not sound romantic, but scheduling in date night with your spouse and sticking to it will ensure that it happens, while spontaneity is usually impossible for most people. Ultimately, if something is important to do, it’s important to get it into your calendar. When you schedule things, be realistic about the time factor so you don’t overbook yourself.
Learn to Say No – You probably have a lot of people, family, friends, co-workers and bosses asking you to do all sorts of things that you really don’t want to do, don’t care about doing, and don’t really make a big difference in your life other than to suck time from your day. Realize that it’s OK to say no to things that just aren’t important to you. It’s okay if people think you’re a horrible person too. They’ll get used to it and find someone else to sucker into doing everything.
Start Your Own Business – There is a saying that only entrepreneurs quit a 40-hour-a-week job to work 80 and call it freedom. But, it doesn’t really have to be all that bad. Entrepreneurs often have a great work-life balance that you can’t have working for someone else. The trick is to pick a business that can eventually be handed off so that you only manage it, and other people do the work.
Turn Off the TV – It’s amazing what kind of time TV sucks from your life these days. Now that we have Netflix, Amazon, and other streaming technology, anything we want to watch is available on demand. This makes binge watching a real thing. Save binge watching TV for when you’re sick, the weather is bad, or it’s that time of the month. Try to limit your TV (show watching) time to less than one hour a day. Then only watch it if you can combine it with physical activity to help you stay healthy.
Get Off the Internet – A lot of people get online and call it “work” or “research”, but all they’re really doing is messing around. Reading Facebook for hours on end is not work or research; it’s a time sucker. While it’s fun, try to let go of doing it. Time yourself to find out how much time you’re wasting, then set a limit. Everyone deserves fun, and if this is fun for you, you should not give it up. Just limit it.
Automate What You Can – There are so many things these days that can be automated, with the right time and money. For example, if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can get many things auto shipped to you, which will save you a trip to the grocery store. Look up “the internet of things” and you’ll be amazed at the type of automation that exists today.
Outsource What You Can – There was a story that made the rounds in 2013 about a man who outsourced his Verizon security job to China.
Unless you own your own business you probably don’t want to go that far with it, but you can outsource a lot of things such as yard work, housework, and even cooking if you have the funds to do it. If you don’t like doing it, you can outsource it to someone else, giving yourself that added time to do what you do like doing.
- Follow Your Body’s Rhythm – Many people are running around trying to beat the clock while running on fumes. They are doing that because their internal body clock is not set to run from morning to night like our society tries to run. It’s easier to do this if you have your own business, but try as much as you can to work and sleep when your body wants to do that instead of forcing it out of its natural rhythm. You’ll be more productive; thus, you’ll save more time.
Getting more free time in your life might seem difficult. You might think you’ll always be on that treadmill of working and sleeping without any breaks. But, if you schedule things better, find a better job that works with your needs, and focus on what’s important in your life, you can manage to find more free time in your life.

Affiliate marketing is becoming popular with moms as a way to make a nice income every month without doing as much work as they would with other work at home jobs. Before you try affiliate marketing, you need to understand what affiliate marketing is and how it is done. There are different affiliate marketing opportunities, but most moms are opting for selling products or sending customers to websites that pay for sign ups.
Selling products is just one way to make money. Using a service such as ejunkie or clickbank allows you to find people that have a digital product for sale. These people allow you to sell their products and earn a commission on every sale. For instance, if someone has an e-book about planning a funeral and he or she lists it with an affiliate site, you can create a hoplink that is a tracking code to your account.
When the product sells when someone clicks through from your link, and they buy the product, you receive your percentage of the commission. This can also be called Bum Marketing. This type of online business can produce a good monthly income if you choose the right products to sell.
Many moms will write articles about something similar to the product and post it in article directories or on their blog. They use a keyword tracker to find out which keywords are the most targeted and try to find a keyword phrase that is searched for quite often, but has little competition. Then they writer the article around that keyword or phrase and add a link back to the product.
Affiliate Marketing Sign Ups
Many websites offer money for getting people to come to their websites and sign up for a product or a free sample. These companies can offer incentives to affiliates looking to make some extra money. Some will offer ten cents a click and sign up, but some offer as much as ten dollars for a click and a sign up. You can find many of these affiliate opportunities by searching a directory of affiliate opportunities. One such example is Obay, which is similar to paypal.
Many moms that have blogs, use affiliate links to make extra money. They can work through many different places to earn a commission. Some have blogs that are just about writing for affiliate links. For instance, they start a blog that is a general blog. They pick some affiliate products to write about and then they insert the links in the articles a few times and leave a link at the end of the article. There are moms that make anywhere from two hundred to one thousand dollars a month this way. That is not bad for very little work.
The nice thing about affiliate marketing is that you only have to do minimal work and the income is generated every month. That means if you choose some great affiliate links, you could have a monthly income forever. This is the best part of affiliate marketing. You are generating income for your future.
You can set up accounts with eBay and Amazon to sell products on a blog or website. This just one more way moms use affiliate marketing to their advantage. Amazon allows you to set up an account and design your own display or have it automate. EBay is the same way. You set up an account and choose the products you would like to sell. If someone clicks through and buys from either of these sites, you get the commission.
If you want to make a living working at home, affiliate marketing would be just one way to do it. You do not need any money for start up costs and you can do all the work yourself. If you do write articles to attract traffic and have some sales, you should keep in mind that you can post to as many article directories as you find, but try to stay with the ones that are a PR3 or higher. This means that they have more traffic than those with a PR2 or lower. Try to find one that is not so saturated with the same keywords as what you are using.

I am going to ask you to something very weird right now. First of all, I want you to listen to your thoughts. Now tell me, what thoughts fill your head? Would you label them as positive, or negative?
Now let’s say you are walking down the street with these thoughts. Do you think anyone who would meet you would be able to tell you what’s on your mind?
The answer to number one is up to you. But, the answer number two can be pretty generic. Although people will not be able to tell you exactly what you think, they will more or less have an idea of how you are feeling.
Here’s another question. When you enter a party filled with friends, do they all fall silent as if something terrible had happened? Or does everybody there perk up as if waiting for something exciting to happen?
You know what? The answer to all these depends on your frame of mind.
Thoughts are very powerful. They affect your general attitude. The attitude you carry reflects on your appearance, too – unless, of course, you are a great actor.
And it doesn’t end there. Your attitude can also affect people around you.
The type of attitude you carry depends on you. It can be either positive or negative.
Positive thoughts have a filling effect. They are admittedly invigorating. Plus, the people around the person carrying positive thoughts are usually energized by this type of attitude.
Negative thoughts on the other hand have a sapping effect on other people. Aside from making you look gloomy and sad, negative thoughts can turn a festive gathering into a funeral wake.
A positive attitude attracts people, while a negative attitude repels them. People tend to shy away from those who carry a negative attitude.
We can also define attitude as the way of looking at the world. If you choose to focus on the negative things in the world, more or less you have a negative attitude brewing up. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things, you are more likely carry a positive attitude.
You have much to gain from a very positive attitude. For one, studies have shown that a positive attitude promotes better health. Those with this kind of attitude also have more friends. projecting a positive attitude also helps one to handle stress and problems better than those who have a negative attitude.
A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image. If you will love the way you are and are satisfied, confident, and self-assured, you also make others are around feel the same way.
A negative attitude, on the other hand, has, of course, an opposite effect. So, carrying a negative attitude has a twofold drawback. You feel bad about yourself, and you make others feel the same way.
If you want to have a positive attitude, you have to feature healthy thoughts. This is probably very hard to do nowadays since, all around us, the media feeds us nothing but negative thoughts. A study shows that for every 14 things a parent says to his or her child, only one is positive. This is truly a saddening thought.
If you want a healthier outlook in life, you need to think happy thoughts, and you have to hear positive things as well. So, what can you do? Well, for starters, you could see a funny movie, you could play with children, spend some time telling jokes with friends. All these activities fill you with positive stimuli, which in turn promotes positive attitude.
Although it is impossible to keep ourselves from the negative things around us, you can still carry a positive attitude by focusing on the good things, the positive things in life.
And this positive attitude you now carry can be of benefit to other people. Sometimes when other people feel down, the thing people mostly do is try to give them advice. But sometimes, all they need is somebody to sit by them, and listen to them. If you have a positive attitude you may be able to cheer them up without even having to say anything.
If positive attitude is really great, why do people choose to adopt a negative attitude instead? One who carries a negative attitude may be actually sending a signal for attention. Before you get me wrong, feeling sad, angry, or gloomy is not wrong itself. But dwelling on these thoughts for far too long is not healthy either. There is a time to mourn.
As always, if you are beset by troubles, even in your darkest hour, focus on the good things in life, you will always have hope. Problems become something you can overcome.
You do not have much to lose by adopting a healthy, positive attitude. Studies show that such an attitude actually retards aging, makes you healthier, helps you develop a better stress coping mechanism, and has a very positive effect on all the people you meet every day. So, what’s not to like about a positive attitude? Adopt one today.

It’s getting harder and harder to determine whether the information you find online is reliable or not. With the proliferation of “fake news” and people who want to scam you out of your hard-earned dollar, it’s important to stay vigilant about the information you find online. Making that determination takes a little detective work and critical thinking.
Here are some questions to help you decide if online information is reliable.
- Does the Website Creator Have Authority? – Has the person who created the website written a book? Are they well-known within that industry as an expert? Do they have any marks against them for scamming people or being caught in telling a lie?
What Organizations Is the Author Affiliated With? – Anytime you read any information, including a scientific research paper, you should ask yourself who the organizations are affiliated with as well as look deep into the scientific methods used to make the determination they made. It’s not always a bad sign to be affiliated with someone who benefits from the information, but it is one sign that can spell trouble.
Has There Been Other Similar Information Shared by Other Experts – When something is factual, many other people will start using the information. If the people using it are well-known authorities, then you can probably be sure that the information is accurate, as long as those people don’t have some kind of agenda and are willing to lie.
Do You See Clues to Bias? – Many times, even with local news stories, the way they phrase information can signal a bias. Bias isn’t always a bad thing, but sometimes it can cause people to pass on or even generate inaccurate information.
When Was the Information Published? – Sometimes things change. So if it’s older information and has to do with technology, finance, or something that is known to change a lot, then you should consider the information suspect.
Can You Find Other Sources with the Same Information? – Often when you find the information, you can trace it back to the original source. This is a great way to determine whether or not something is accurate. This is because sometimes people will look at information and then interpret it incorrectly. Best to read the information from the original source.
Does the Publisher Have Proof? – When someone is making claims about something, do they show proof of those claims? If they do, can you substantiate that their proof is real or fake? If not, then consider the info suspect until you have more data.
On What Type of Website Did You Find the Information? – Today, anyone can buy a .org or a .com or a variety of other domains. So, what’s most important is who created the website. Is it a personal website, an organizational website, an educational website or something else? The more you can identify the originator and contact them, the better.
It’s important to do your due diligence to find out if information you find online is true or not. If you do this work, you can be certain that you’re not passing on poor information or getting yourself involved in a scam.

A virtual assistant has many job duties and the majority of the work is done at home in front of the computer. You may need to make a run to the post office a few times, but for the most part, you work at home. This type of assistant can perform many different job duties such as answering incoming calls, replying to voice messages and emails, typing, making travel arrangements and researching. These are just a few of job duties.
Most clients that request the help of a virtual assistant do so because they have no room for an assistant in their office or they have no office per say. Office assistants can make good money depending on what the job duties are and the client. Most virtual assistants make between eight and fifteen dollars an hour. There are some advantages and disadvantages to being an assistant in the virtual world.
Some client put high demands on the assistant. Some clients feel that the assistant should be at their beckon call no matter what time of day it is or what day it is. Before agreeing to work with anyone, you have to set your hours and stick to it. If you let a client contact you any time of the day, you will open a door to burn out or become frustrated. Some clients expect a person to be able when they need them and this causes problems with your home life.
If you want to be a good virtual assistant, you need to set the hours right away and the hourly pay. You also have to set up a spreadsheet of your hours worked so that you have all the necessary documentations down to the minute if the client questions your work or pay. Most clients are easy to work with, but some will take advantage of your time. You have to discuss everything up front before agreeing to do the work.
Working at home can be a great opportunity for moms with small children at home. As a virtual assistant, you need to have a place to work with very little distractions if you have to answer phones or return calls. Most clients will have a phone system that you log into to answer voice mails and make calls. Typing up documents is usually done in Microsoft Word and sent via email back and forth. However, this could be different with every client.
Before you accept a virtual assistant job, you should clarify what office programs you need and whether or not you will be using their phone system to answer and make calls. You do not want to accept the job and find out later that you need to make long distant calls from your own phone. Each client is different and has different needs. If you work only a few hours a week for one client, you may have time to take on another client to make a full forty hour week.
Many clients are looking for virtual assistants, but will have a specific title for the assistant such as an executive secretary or office manager. It is very important that you know what type of work you will be required to do for each position. Executive secretaries have more job duties in the office setting, but in the virtual world, the work is similar to what a virtual assistant does.
If you accept a virtual assistant position, you will be responsible to dedicate your time during the hours specified. If you have conflicts with the hours, you should always discuss this with the client upfront. Many clients will be able to work with you so that you can still fill their needs. You must also keep in mind the different time zones. If you take a position with someone that resides in the UK and you live in the US, the hours that you work may be at night when you are usually sleeping. It is very important to clarify the hours for different time zones.
If you can type, do light research, answer and return phone calls, you will have no problem performing as a virtual assistant. You just have to clarify the job duties before accepting any position.

Everything that happens to us happens in purpose. And sometimes, one thing leads to another. Instead of locking yourself up in your cage of fears and crying over past heartaches, embarrassment and failures, treat them as your teachers and they will become your tools in both self improvement and success.
I remember watching Patch Adams – its my favorite movie, actually. Its one great film that will help you improve yourself. Hunter “patch” Adams is a medical student who failed to make it through the board exams. After months of suffering in melancholy, depression and suicidal attempts – he decided to seek for medical attention and voluntarily admitted himself in a psychiatric ward. His months of stay in the hospital led him to meeting different kinds of people. Sick people in that matter. He met a catatonic, a mentally retarded, a schizophrenic and so on.
Patch found ways of treating his own ailment and finally realized he has to get back on track. He woke up one morning realizing that after all the failure and pains he has gone through, he still want to become the a doctor. He carries with himself a positive attitude that brought him self improvement and success. He didn’t only improved himself, but also the life of the people around him and the quality of life. Did he succeed? Needless to say, he became the best damn doctor his country has ever known.
So, when does self improvement become synonymous with success? Where do we start? Take these tips, friends…
*Stop thinking and feeling as if you’re a failure, because you’re not. How can others accept you if YOU can’t accept YOU?
*When you see hunks and models on TV, think more on self improvement, not self pitying. Self acceptance is not just about having nice slender legs, or great abs. Concentrate on inner beauty.
*When people feel so down and low about themselves, help them move up. Don’t go down with them. They’ll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior.
*The world is a large room for lessons, not mistakes. Don’t feel stupid and doomed forever just because you failed on a science quiz. There’s always a next time. Make rooms for self improvement.
*Take things one at a time. You don’t expect black sheep’s to be goody-two-shoes in just a snap of a finger. Self improvement is a one day at a time process.
*Self improvement results to inner stability, personality development and dig this …. SUCCESS. It comes from self confidence, self appreciation and self esteem.
* Set meaningful and achievable goals. Self improvement doesn’t turn you to be the exact replica of Cameron Diaz or Ralph Fiennes. It hopes and aims to result to an improved and better YOU.
*Little things mean BIG to other people. Sometimes, we don’t realize that the little things that we do like a pat on the back, saying “hi” or “hello”, greeting someone “good day” or telling Mr. Smith something like “hey, I love your tie!” are simple things that mean so much to other people. When we’re being appreciative about beautiful things around us and other people, we also become beautiful to them.
*When you’re willing to accept change and go through the process of self improvement, it doesn’t mean that everyone else is. The world is a place where people of different values and attitude hang out. Sometimes, even if you think you and your best friend always like to do the same thing together at the same time, she would most likely decline an invitation for self improvement.
We should always remember that there’s no such thing as ‘over night success’. Its always a wonderful feeling to hold on to the things that you already have now, realizing that those are just one of the things you once wished for. A very nice quote says that “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” We are all here to learn our lessons. Our parents, school teachers, friends, colleagues, officemates, neighbors… they are our teachers. When we open our doors for self improvement, we increase our chances to head to the road of success.

According to School Library Media Research (www.ala.org), about 85 percent of all children experience information overload – with it affecting girls at a higher rate than boys. Information overload is exposure to too much data, which of course is everywhere now. Kids get information from parents, teachers, television, games, TV shows and the internet.
- Improper Filtering of Information – When a child is given too much information for their brain to handle, they just stop filtering the information properly because it’s too fast and too much. Due to this improper filtering of information, they might remember the information incorrectly or they might just dump it right out of their head. If your child is suffering in this way due to teachers, ask them to slow down for your child or organize the information differently.
- Too Much Generalization of Information – Another symptom of information overload in kids is that they’ll tend to feel that the information isn’t important and put it into the “general” category in their minds. Which of course leads to missing important things like test dates, or leaving their coat or wallet in places they didn’t want to leave it.
Forgetting Information – When anyone including children gets too much information too fast, they just dump it. That leads to forgetting important information. A child might even forget to go to the bathroom due to the confusion in their brain if they’re young enough. Information overload can cause children to be handicapped from moving forward in their development if it’s not put under control.
Processing Incorrect Information – One of the worst things that happens to kids with information overload is that they process the information wrongly. For example, if you teach them how to factor numbers but throw a bunch of other irrelevant information at them at the same time, they’ll forget how to do it correctly.
Not Processing Any Information – Many children will just shut down and stop processing the information at all. These children are often considered lazy, or diagnosed with ADD or other disorders – the worst being ODD (oppositional defiance disorder). Many end up medicated when the only problem was that they were getting too much information too fast.
Having Night Terrors – Some children have serious repercussions to information overload, such as bed wetting and night terrors. These children are often perfectionists by nature and want to do well, but feel as if they just have too much to do and to know, so it shows up in their sleep.
Experiencing Headaches Often – Other children start getting headaches due to stress. Headaches in the neck and back of the head is a telling sign that your child is over-stressed and that it could be from information overload.
Showing Tiredness at School – Some kids just sleep when they’re stressed out. Information overload can make people tired, including children. If your child sleeps at night but seems to fall asleep anytime someone is trying to impart important information to them, look at their schedule and life to find out if it could be information overload.
You can lower the chances of your own child suffering from information overload by helping them avoid too much information. Getting plenty of down time without screens is one way to accomplish this. Plus, teaching your child to schedule and chunk information in a better way may cut down on the overload symptoms.
Moms enjoy working at home and caring for their families while making some money. They work for clients that need bloggers on a daily basis or they design blogs for themselves while relying on Google AdSense and affiliate links to make money. Some people laugh when they hear how blogging moms make money, but the truth is that there is money to be made blogging for yourself. You do have to know how to attract traffic and how to present your affiliate links and Google ads to make money.
Blogging for someone else enables you to receive upfront pay. This is the preferred method of blogging for many moms. You can expect to be paid a minimum of $5 for a three hundred word post up to fifty dollars a post. You can find many blogging jobs at sites such as ProBlogger and Craigslist. People use blog writers to keep their blogs updated every day or every other day. If you start a blog and leave it sit, it will not make any money.
Some moms that work at home write content for their own blogs. They start a blog in a niche that they enjoy writing about to attract traffic. By attracting traffic, they are gaining momentum on the Internet and in time, they develop a following. Some of the people that visit their niche blogs will see Google ads and click on the links. Every click makes some amount of money. If they choose the right keywords, the Google ads can amount to quite a bit of money.
Bloggers also join affiliate sites to host banners for big companies such as Petco, Baby Bee and even Sears. Most people use Commission Junction to find commission ads. These are just two ways to make money blogging for yourself. You can run contests and free giveaways to bring traffic to your blogs.
Although writing is part of the blogger’s job, you have to join other forums and message boards so you can participate in discussions with a link as your signature. Everyone on the discussion boards sees this link and they can click the link and check out your blog. Now you are generating more traffic that can lead to more Google ad clicks.
Even though you should write about something that you enjoy, you also should check to see what types of blogs get traffic before you start. You can make as many blogs as you like free with Blogger. Therefore, you might have more than one blog that increases your chances of making money for yourself. The goal of the blogger is to draw traffic to her blog so that she may get some clicks on affiliate sites or Google ads.
Blogging for yourself is a slow process, but if you participate in discussions at forums and message boards with your link, you can increase your traffic and increase your chances of making money. If you need guaranteed pay, you can apply for blogging jobs that pay weekly or monthly. If you work for client’s blogging, you can actually make as much as one hundred dollars a day just writing five blog posts a day.
The only disadvantage of blogging is that you have to write about the same niche repeatedly depending on what you make your blog. If you are working for a client, chances are the topic is going to be repetitive. This is something that you have to consider before starting any blog or blogging job.
Some bloggers also make money making their blogs available for advertisements. This type of ad is called Paid to Post. Companies and individuals pay you so much money to write up a post about their product or website and post it on your blog. You can make as much as one hundred dollars for a three hundred word post if you have a lot of traffic. Monetizing your own blog is easy if you know where to find ways to make money with little work.
Whether you want to work for someone else or blog for yourself will depend on the type of money you want to make. You can do both paid blogging and blogging for yourself and increase your income.

Your family should never be left out of your plans. If you are just starting out then you have to decide if you want to be a parent or when you want to be a parent. You also have to know if you really would be a good parent and how well would you relate to extended family members
Personal financial situations also play a major role in achieving your goals. Have a realistic goal on how much you really want to earn. You also must be able to create plans or stages by which you will be able to reach your earning potential.
Physically gifted individuals may be able to achieve sports related goals like being in the National Basketball association or National Football League. Determining your physical capabilities should be one of your priorities. Physical limitations could however be conquered with proper planning.
As the saying goes -‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’, or something to that effect, is by all means true down to the last the letter. Giving yourself a little pleasure: should be included into your plans.
To start achieving your lifetime goals, set a quarter of a century plan, then break it down to 5 year plans then break it down again to 1 year plans, then 6 month plans then monthly plans, then weekly, then daily.
- Then create a things-to-do list for the day.
- Always review your plans and prepare for contingencies.
- The basics of goal settings should not be so difficult once you get to be familiar with them.

Smartphones, on-demand TV, the internet – these are all great inventions that provide us with a tremendous amount of benefits, but they can also cause problems. One of the problems caused by all this technology and our 24-hour society is information overload. It affects adults, but it also affects teenagers – maybe worse because they’re not always in control of the information they allow into their minds the way adults are.
- Poor Behavior – Many teenagers end up with behavior problems because they just have too much stuff going on in their head. The noise of life never shuts up. If there isn’t an adult around who is helping them monitor their access to information (not the information itself, but the access to so much information), it can become a huge problem for them.
- Drug Use – To regulate the feelings the overloaded teen is experiencing, they often self-medicate to try to feel better. While cannabis does have a lot of good features, the side effects on children before their frontal lobes close are not truly known. However, there is a correlation between marijuana use in teenagers and schizophrenia in young adulthood.
Ignore the Right Information – When too much information is thrown at someone, they will ignore or forget some of it – usually anything that comes after the first three or four parts of the information. For example, if you as a parent verbally give your teenager a list of things to do during the day, they’re likely to forget all but the first couple things you told them.
They Make More Mistakes – When too much information is thrown at a teenager, they tend to make more mistakes. This is due to poor filtering and the tendency to start generalizing all information as having the same importance. This can cause the teenager to not prioritize the information properly, leading to mistakes.
Wasting Time – Teenagers will often resort to time-wasting and stalling tactics when they’ve suffered information overload. This is just a way to try to slow down their lives so that they can process the information they already have. Sadly, they often waste their time doing things that give them more information overload, such as surfing the internet.
Misunderstanding Details – When a teenager receives too much information, they tend to not totally understand what is happening. They also don’t know what questions to ask, so they don’t get the details and then they make mistakes due to not having a grasp on the facts.
Black and White Thinking – Another symptom of information overload in teens is the inability to see the gray in the information. They see right and wrong, black and white, but not all the in-between information that sometimes is even more important to help with decision making.
Disorganization and Inability to Manage Time – When there is just too much going on, it’s hard to get organized for adults. It’s even harder for teenagers due to their undeveloped brain. A human’s brain isn’t fully developed until approximately 22 to 24 years of age when the frontal lobes close.
Inability to Set Priorities – Due to all the information hitting the teenager’s brain, it can be difficult to set priorities. They’re missing details, filtering information incorrectly, and generalizing too much – all of which keeps them from being able to set smart priorities in life.
It’s clear that information overload is a problem for almost everyone today, regardless of age. But what to do about it is the question. The ability to get information by tapping a phone is amazing and useful. But, it’s becoming clear that we need a break from the continuous bombardment of information twenty-four seven.

Be all you can be, but it’s not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat contented with my life the way things are, but of course it’s hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed.
Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.
So we’re all pelted with problems. Honestly it shouldn’t even bother or even hinder us to becoming all we ought to be. Aspirations as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks… or can they?
1. What do I really want?
The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.
Find something that you are good at can help realize that small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.
2. Should I really change?
Today’s generation has taken another level of redefining ‘self’, or at least that’s what the kids are saying. Having an army of teenage nieces and nephews has taught me that there are far worse things that they could have had than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?
If history has taught us one thing, it’s the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies style wouldn’t appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing.
3. What’s the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny. And if it’s a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!
4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.
5. Have I done enough for myself?
Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you’ll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.
6. Am I happy at where I am today?
It’s an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!
7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
So maybe I don’t have an answer to that, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try it, though. Whether you shape-up, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.
8. How much could I have?
I suppose in this case there is no such things on having things too much or too little, but it’s more on how badly you really need it. I’d like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?
9. What motivates me?
What motivates you? It’s an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. It’s not like you can’t have one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that’s it. Just try it piece by piece.
10. What Really Makes You Tick?
So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but to realize that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it’s something that you really want.
